Calling 119

When you need an ambulance for a sudden sickness or injury, dial 119 (the same number as for a fire). Tell the officer on the line your name and address (or where you are), describe the conditions of the sickness or injury and inform him/her of a landmark near your home (or where you are). While waiting for an ambulance, get your health insurance certificate and some cash. When you hear the ambulance approaching, go outside (if you can) and guide the driver. Use of the ambulance service (free of charge) is limited to emergency cases only. If the condition is not Serious, please get a cab or other means of transportation.
